Within a client-centered environment, the individual in this position will initiate, guide, produce or perform a wide variety of instructional, training, or audio/visual presentation material for classes and university events; and perform related work as required to students, prospective students, staff and faculty, and members of the community. As well, the position will provide any needed support to the Office of Distance Learning.
NOTE: For Fall 2011 semester individual must be available every Wednesday night from
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until September 14 to work with Interactive Television class between LCU and Amarillo Central Church of Christ.
The Media Production Technician produces original media material and duplicates copyright-cleared media material for the University. The technician provides a wide variety of computer and audio-video services to facilitate classroom lectures, administrative publications/presentations and university events. Some of the above-listed tasks and duties involve sensitive or confidential material.
Must have experience with video equipment or using computer editing programs and/or, if very computer literate, be able to learn video editing programs quickly.
