LUBBOCK, Texas (March 4, 2015) - The National College Baseball Hall of Fame announced their 2015 induction class Wednesday and Lubbock Christian University is represented in the class of eight inductees, as former head coach Larry Hays will be inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame during its annual celebration scheduled for June 28-29 in Lubbock, Texas.

Lubbock Christian University baseball head coach Nathan Blackwood has confirmed the Chaparrals baseball game for Tuesday (Mar. 3) in Abilene, Texas against Texas Wesleyan University has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions. However, LCU will play Tuesday at home and will host Wayland Baptist University at 4 p.m.

LAREDO, Texas (February 28, 2015) ? It was not the ending Lubbock Christian University wanted to have closing out the careers of seniors Haley Burton and Callie Sandusky. Needing a win to clinch the final spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament, Texas A&M International University received 31 points from Jessica Prieto and the Dustdevils upset No.19 LCU 68-60 in the Lady Chaps 2014-2015 season fina-le Saturday. It marks the first time LCU has had consecutive conference losses since December of 2010.

This 2014-15 season concluded as most do not, as Lubbock Christian recorded a win to complete their schedule, defeating Texas A&M International in which the Chaps withstood a 26-4 run by the Dustdevils after leading by as many as 26 in the second half, aided by a career-high 26 points from Isaac Cardona.
