The NCAA Division II's longest active conference win streak end-ed Monday at LCU Soccer Field, as Newman University ended Lubbock Christian University's nine-game Heartland Conference win streak by defeating the Chaparrals 1-0 to hand LCU their first conference loss of the season and end their streak of six unbeaten games.

For the first time since 2010, Lubbock Christian University has a pair of players with at least 10 goals on the season, as Claudia Sanchez netted her 10th goal of the sea-son and goalkeeper Lauren Story recorded her sixth shutout of the season to lead the Lady Chaparrals to a 2-0 victory over Newman University Monday in Heartland Conference action at LCU Soccer Field. The win was the seventh consecutive win for the Lady Chaps, who remain perfect (5-0-0) in conference play.
