Chapel is a gathering of students, staff, and faculty to worship God and build community. We meet Monday through Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Chapel attendance is an essential part of the LCU experience and is mandatory for all campus residents and all students under the age of 25 enrolled in 12 or more hours. Part-time commuters, graduate students, and commuters 25 years or older are encouraged to attend chapel but are exempt from mandatory chapel attendance. All students living on campus, part-time or full-time, must attend chapel.

Full-time, single undergraduate students who have been out of high school less than four long semesters (two years) are required to live in campus housing. Qualified students must submit a petition for off-campus housing.

Yes, freshmen are permitted to have a vehicle on campus.

All students who live on-campus are required to purchase a meal plan. Freshmen are required to purchase the 19 meal plan.

Munch Money is a declining balance that is purchased along with your meal plan. Munch Money can be used at Take 10 (grill and express station) and at the Koffee Kup.

Vocal ensembles include Best Friends, Chamber Ensemble, Chamber Singers, Forte, and Praise Choir. Instrumental ensembles include the Symphonic Band and Hard Traveler's.

We have a large theater production or musical each semester as well as student-directed one acts for which all students are invited to audition. You will also have the opportunity to participate in one of LCU's signature events, Master Follies, which is a variety show competition every spring semester during Homecoming Weekend.

You sure can, and Internet hookups are ready in every dorm room on campus. You will have a separate phone line as well. The campus has a fiber optic network.

No problem--there are several computer labs on campus for your use. You also will have your own email address so you can keep in touch with family and friends. Your email address will be first initial, last name, last 4 digits of student ID# @lcu.edu (ex. kphillips4242@lcu.edu)

Freshman students are required to be in their residence hall at 1:00AM.

LCU is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and all of our faculty and Board of Trustees are members in good standing. About 50% of our students come from a Church of Christ heritage while the other half are from a wide variety of other denominational backgrounds.
