Department: Library Position Description:
  • Evaluate, promote and maintain in-depth research assistance/guidance for upper-division and graduate level distance students
  • Create and sustain a dynamic outreach plan to facilitate needs for all distance patrons
  • Provide support for all automation functions -- under the direction of the Automation Librarian
  • Be a liaison with software companies and LCU Information Services
  • Diagnose computer problems and give software support/Understand the different software needs in OPAC, Technical Services, Circulation, Serials, and Acquisitions
  • Install software upgrades and configure new workstations as required
  • Keep records updated and correct; gather and verify library statistics
  • Assist with collection development and weeding
  • Supervise library student workers
  • Assist and instruct groups and individuals in locating specific information and use of library materials; provide specialized instruction upon request
  • Reading professional literature; attend professional development seminars

Personal Info

Lisa has three children, Jaime (graduate of ACU and now a nurse at Children's Medical Center Dallas), Nathan (a freshman at LCHS), and Ryann. Lisa enjoys making quilts for Project Linus, attending Nate's Little League baseball games, and Ryann's swim meets.
