Come celebrate the places that have helped us become who we are.

The International Student Luncheon is a monthly celebration of culture. Sometimes we come to appreciate places as far away as Africa and Asia, while other times are devoted to the culture of West Texas, or places a little closer to LCU. Our students come from many different worlds and we want to recognize and give honor to the cultures that intersect on this campus.

Once a month, the staff of the Counseling Center creates a meal that represents a particular culture. Students are invited to not only attend, but to participate through the planning and decorating as well as bringing items representative of their own culture and sharing personal stories. The meal is enjoyed as well as the conversation and deepening friendships.

This is an event that is open to anyone who wants to celebrate and integrate cultural variance.
