Honors students participate in the annual LCU Scholars Colloquium, which showcases student and faculty research projects and art presentations. The colloquium also features a major scholar. For example, world renowned physicist and Templeton Prize recipient Stanley Jaki spoke in 2008.
Students often participate in regional and national honors conferences. In 2008 at the National Collegiate Honors Conference, Chemistry major Richard Roper (left) presented his continuing research on West Texas groundwater pollution, and Accounting major Ellen Burton (below) spoke about the common currency Euro and problems in the European Union.
