Honors Biology Scholar Brett Blackwell receives the Deans' Award from Honors Faculty Dr. Estep |
Honors students complete 30 hours of Honors courses, within the framework of their respective departmental degree plans. Students who complete these 30 hours with a GPA of 3.5 or above graduate as Honors Scholars.
Honors Core (5-6 courses)
- English Literature or Philosophy
- American History
- Science and Humanity or Majors Biology
- Biblical Narrative
- Communication for the Professional
- Ethics and Vocation
- Special topics seminars
- Recent seminars: History of Science, C. S. Lewis, Urban Studies, Leadership
Honors Major (4-5 courses)
- Majors sections (Macroeconomics, Biology, Biochemistry, Religion)
- Contracted honors work in majors courses
- Research honors contracts
- Honors thesis or majors capstone research course
- Special topics seminars
