Personal Info

Dr. Ann Hannel has served in several educational capacities in her career of 48 years. She taught reading and history at the elementary level, computers at the middle school level, and reading and CIS at the junior college level. For over 18 years, Dr. Hannel served a large public school district as a central office staff development specialist in school community relationships (aka Parental Involvement specialist), grant writer, and district program administrator for federal and state grants. Although she is semi-retired she is often contracted by Region 17 ESC as a grant specialist and evaluator. She continues to be employed as an adjunct professor, teaching Educational Action Research—my passion. Dr. Hannel does enjoy teaching!

Dr. Ann is married to Dr. D. Hannel. They have four grown children and more importantly, 7 grandchildren. Dr. Dub Hannel currently serves as an elder and teacher at the Green Lawn Church of Christ. Dr. Ann teaches and writes Bible school curriculum for middle school age students at this congregation.
