Online and Hybrid Instruction

We understand that you may not want to leave your ministry and uproot your family to participate in higher education. If so, our graduate programs in Bible and ministry are designed for you.

Graduate degrees offered through the Department of Biblical Studies are earned primarily through distance learning. Seventy-five percent of required classes may be taken in an online delivery format. To meet our residency requirement, the remaining classes are taken through one-week short courses or two and 1/2 day hybrid courses (with face to face and online instruction).

Students unable to meet the residency requirement (i.e., 25% of courses taken at LCU), due to missionary or military commitments, may petition the dean for an exception. Exceptions will result in additional hours added to the degree plan.
