Our congregation is well established with a current attendance of 120+. The church building is completely paid for and is located in the West Ashley area of Charleston. The church is served by 3 elders and 6 deacons. Also the members are actively involved in missionary work, local and abroad, a children's home, feeding the homeless in a soup kitchen, VBS, a yearly state wide Bible Bowl, Ladies Day/Retreat programs and World Bible school.

Davis Park Church of Christ in Modesto, CA, a congregation of 350, is looking for an experienced youth and family minister, who is a team player and has a servant's heart, to partner with us as we redesign our approach to developing deep, lasting faith in our youth, children and their families. We believe that numerous authentic, enduring, cross-generational relationships between youth and the rest of the congregation, incorporating youth into the work of the church, and equipping families are keys to lasting faith. In addition to developing programs to achieve these and related goals, we expect that our new minister will share in pulpit duties as needed.

Family life Minister

We are looking for a man who is self-motivated, energetic, and enjoys working with families in their various stages of development, from the cradle and beyond

retirement. All God's children have a need to belong and to feel accepted. We

have families in our congregation representing every facet of life's journey. We

are pretty typical with a diverse family composition.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably

from a Christian university, married and preferably with children. Applicant(s)

should have experience in the areas of family ministry, small groups, and as a

worship leader.

We are blessed to have several energetic and creative deacons who may benefit

from collaboration with a FLM to help stimulate their further development.

We are establishing a building fund for a planned Family Life Center (FLC) to

provide a tool to enhance the works done by our church family. We look forward

to the Family Life Minister assisting in the coordination of this facility.
