The Lone Oak Church of Christ in Paducah, KY, is beginning a search for a Family Life Minister (FLM). The elders want to add this minister to stimulate growth in at least three areas. First of all, the elders think it is important to have a more encouraging, enthusiastic and edifying worship service. Secondly, we think it important to provide opportunities for growth in relationships through small groups as we reach out into our community. Thirdly, the elders realize the need for emphasis on the younger families as the church of tomorrow. Therefore, we are searching for a man who has been blessed with talents as a Worship Leader, in Small Group Ministry, and in the area of Young Families.

Family life Minister

We are looking for a man who is self-motivated, energetic, and enjoys working with families in their various stages of development, from the cradle and beyond

retirement. All God's children have a need to belong and to feel accepted. We

have families in our congregation representing every facet of life's journey. We

are pretty typical with a diverse family composition.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably

from a Christian university, married and preferably with children. Applicant(s)

should have experience in the areas of family ministry, small groups, and as a

worship leader.

We are blessed to have several energetic and creative deacons who may benefit

from collaboration with a FLM to help stimulate their further development.

We are establishing a building fund for a planned Family Life Center (FLC) to

provide a tool to enhance the works done by our church family. We look forward

to the Family Life Minister assisting in the coordination of this facility.
