Department: Business Administration Position Description: Dr. Fullerton teaches a majority of her students in Business Administration, but she also teaches a few students in the Natural Sciences. She is the coordinator of the Agriculture Business Minor program. While Dr. Fullerton teaches the many courses listed below, her areas of specialization are Personal Finance, Agricultural Finance & Credit, Money and Banking, and Real Estate Fundamentals.

Personal Info

Dr.Caren Fullerton has been with LCU since 2004. Prior to coming to LCU, she worked in the banking industry for 8 years. She was employed by Norwest Bank which later acquired Wells Fargo and is now the third largest banking institution in the country.
While with the company, she spent seven of those years in the commercial banking area as a Vice President working with large commercial customers. Prior to that, she worked in the accounting area producing required government reports for the institution.
She and her husband, John, have two children. They are members at Sunset Church of Christ and are active in the children's ministry and small groups. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and reading.

Dr. Fullerton successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "A Simulation Analysis of Cotton Gin Financial Viability Under Risk" in December of 2009
She presented "An Analysis of Plains Ginning Costs" at the Beltwide National Cotton Conference held in San Antonio, Texas in January of 2009 Presented "An Analysis of South Plains Ginning Costs" at the Plains Ginners Association meeting in August of 2008
