BA in Biblical Text and Preaching - An intensive study of the Biblical text, primarily in English designed to improve the students comprehension and teaching of the Bible. Students interested in teaching, preaching, ministry, and graduate studies will pursue this degree.
BA in Children's Ministry - This degree emphasizes serving families and children in the church setting. Students will combine ministry skills, Biblical Studies, and early childhood studies to prepare them for serving families and their young children. Students who are interested in serving as children's ministers and Christian counselors tend to pursue this degree.
BA in Missions - This degree emphasizes ministry in the context of international, domestic, and urban missions. Students interested in missions or church planting will tend to pursue this degree.
BA in Youth and Family Ministry - This degree emphasizes service to families and adolescents in the church setting. Students will combine ministry skills, Biblical Studies, and adolescent studies to provide them a basis for serving families. Students who are interested in serving as youth ministers or Christian counselors tend to pursue this degree.
Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts Fast Track - Biblical studies students may pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Preaching, Missions, or Youth and Family Ministry, plus a Master of Arts in Biblical Interpretation using the BA/MA Fast Track option. The total number of hours for the Bachelors Arts to Master of Arts in the fast track program is 150 hours, 12 hours fewer than the number of hours necessary to pursue each degree separately. The student must be formally admitted to the major and have chair approval to pursue the fast track option.
Minor in Missions - This minor requires at least a 2.25 GPA in the University Core Bible courses and at least a 2.50 GPA for the minor. This is for the student interested in missions, especially in vocational missions.
