LUBBOCK, Texas (September 14, 2014) – Friday, the Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals defeated a Colorado based university 1-0 with a goal off a corner kick. Sunday, another Colorado based program returned the favor. Francesca Rand's corner kick in the 75th minute found its way into the goal and Western State Colorado University handed LCU their first loss of the season with a 1-0 final from a rainy LCU Soccer Field.

LUBBOCK, Texas (September 13, 2014) – The collection of Maddie Johnson, Channing Castleberry, Amy Edwards and Christiana Tavo combined for 45 kills and six blocks to blast Lubbock Christian past the Newman Jets in three sets on Saturday afternoon at the Rip Griffin Center and give the Lady Chaps a 5-0 overall record, their best start since the 2010 season.
