The prevailing purpose of Marketing Lubbock Christian University is to build a brand in the mind of prospective donors, alumni, friends, students, and parents. It is our job to make sure the message we send to our target audience is consistent and built on that brand. All elements created for the promotion of the university should originate or pass through our office before being introduced to the public. The Marketing Communications Department oversees the following areas:

Advertising/Marketing

We can advise you as to the best use of advertising resources and in the creation and implementation of advertising and marketing campaigns to promote an area within your department. We also work to market various campus events that directly impact the university's image and enrollment.

Web

The online presence of LCU is an extremely important marketing tool. Through Content Management, we provide a consistent image throughout the entire site, while still meeting your online marketing needs. At MarCom, we can help you with the creation and maintenance of your area on the website, implementing interactivity and creativity into the current "templates," to send the message you want to your audience.

Print

We can create and manage the printing of brochures, posters, awards, flyers, reports and other collateral pieces you may need to market your specific area. We can also help negotiate the best price on jobs from outside vendors and provide advice for your printing needs. In addition, the Marketing Resources Department is the primary sources for business cards, letterhead and envelopes.

Visual/Audio

This is a broad area that includes: studio and field photography, illustrations, video editing and production, sound system operation and consulting, and stage lighting design. We can assist in the production of special events to ensure intelligible audio and appropriate lighting.
