Jeff's undergraduate degree in Bible is from Lubbock Christian University (1995). Jeff met his wife, Amy, at LCU. They and their three children worship with the Idalou Church of Christ where Jeff serves as the preaching minister. Jeff assumed a full time teaching position at LCU in 1999. Between the years of 2003-2006, Jeff and his family were in Waco, Tx, where he completed course work and examinations for a Ph.D. in Religion. Jeff's primary area of training is Christian Theology. Specific areas of academic interest include Patristic theology, contemporary theology, ecclesiology.
Jeff's doctoral dissertation was published in 2012 under the title "Free Churches and the Body of Christ: Authority, Unity, and Truthfulness."
