Jocelyn has been involved in the performing arts her entire life both as an artist and an administrator. She moved to Lubbock from Ohio, where she completed Ohio University’s MFA Professional Director Training Program. Prior to that, she worked at Dallas Theater Center as the Manager of Institutional Giving. Jocelyn completed a BFA in Theater Directing and an MA in English Literature (Dramatic Literature) at Abilene Christian University.
Directing credits include PROOF, CYMBELINE, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, COLLECTED STORIES, DIANA OF DOBSON'S, THE ILLUSION, TWO ROOMS, ANATOMY OF GRAY, [SIC], OLYMPIC VILLAGE, ALMOST, MAINE, LITTLE LIGHT, and ISRAELI PALESTINIAN RESOLUTION: A VERY EXTREMELY IMPORTANT PLAY (IN PROGRESS) BY SAMUEL GOLDMEYER at theaters in Texas and Ohio. She served as the assistant director for the world premiere of THE GOOD NEGRO by Tracey Scott Wilson at Dallas Theater Center (a co-production with The Public Theater) and was as the Producing Fellow for The GERM Project at New Georges in New York City.
