We begin seeing ads about the big toy/gadget/clothing or fill-in-the-blank of what we need to get or give. We are overlooking Thanksgiving. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas; I love how everyone stops

43-sullivanH. Chase Stewart, Student Writer What are your goals in life? There are two types of people in this world: those that want something and those that deserve something. Those who want something talk about it: “Oh, how nice it would be if… I would like to…” Those who deserve what they desire will do

fallDemi Lorey, Student Editor The sun is rising later on these cool, crisp, November mornings. Playful breezes sweep around the trees, rustling leaves and beckoning them to float to the ground. Birds chirp, and the subtle warmth of the sun kisses the ground. Comfy, oversized sweaters and boots have moved to the front of the

untitledZach Woodbridge, Staff Writer This past weekend, I saw the recently released World War II movie Fury starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf. I must say it was an interesting film. If you’re looking for action and a great modern WWII movie, you’ve found one. The movie is about Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) and his crew

LUBBOCK, Texas (November 28, 2014) ? History still sits in favor of Tarleton State University. Lubbock Christian University's Tess Bruffey broke the program single-game blocks mark with nine blocks and teammate Allison Szabo produced her first career double-double with career highs in points (16) and rebounds (10), but it was overshadowed by Tarleton's Kathy Thomas, who was 7-of-7 from three-point range and produced 25 points to help the TexAnns break a program single game three-point shooting mark and hold off LCU 73-71 in overtime Friday night at Rip Griffin Center in the opening night of the Lowe's Market Thanksgiving Classic. LCU not only falls to 2-20 all-time against Tarleton, but the loss ended an 18-game win streak at home, which entered the day as the third longest active home win streak in NCAA Div. II. Their last home loss came on Jan. 10, 2013.
