Interested in a Group Tour? Come out to one of our CHAP DAYS!

If you are looking to come out and see our campus and also meet other future LCU students - plan ahead for one of our LCU CHAP DAYS. These days are like a campus tour - plus more. Experience the difference on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. See dorms, classrooms, meet professors, and experience our GREEN Initiative at LCU to be an eco-friendly campus. You can experience even more of Lubbock Christian University on a CHAP DAY - and who knows, with lots of other future LCU students visiting that day, you might meet your future roommate!

You will have lots of great options. That morning, students can visit with professors at our Department Fair - while parents will be offered a Financial Aid Seminar. You can come with all your questions about Aid, Scholarships, FAFSA and more. Our Financial Services Office will walk you through all of your questions and help guide you through the college Financial Aid process. Not only can you meet some of our professors at a departmental fair, you can actually REGISTER for classes for next fall. Come and get first pick for classes and schedules by taking advantage of early registration.

8:30am	Breakfast Get settled in and meet some other prospective students and their families while enjoying a continental breakfast	Baker Conference Center
8:45am	Welcome As he extends a greeting to you on behalf of the entire campus, Dr. Jones will share his genuine passion and heart for your success and for the students who attend LCU.	Chancellor Dr. Ken Jones
9:00am	Academic and Student Support Departmental Fair Various professors and academic departments will be on hand to discuss options for your desired area of study and career pursuits. Also on hand will be staff representing the various departments that will support you and make your life more fun, more comfortable and more successful as a student.
9:45am	Center for Student Success You will learn about the tremendous services that are available to all students that will ensure your academic, personal and emotional success as an LCU student.	Mondy Brewer
9:55am	Meet your Admissions Counselor Your communication to this point with your LCU Admissions Counselor has likely been on the phone or by mail or by text. This will be your chance to put a face with a name and to get to know the person who will be your main contact with the university until you become a student.
10:00am	Campus Tours or Residential Hall Tours Guided tours will introduce you to the campus and to the people of Lubbock Christian University. At this hour, some groups will see the various residential living choices on campus while other groups will tour the rest of the campus. At the 11:30 time, these groups will see what they didn't see during this tour.
11:00am	Chapel The campus community meets close to midday to acknowledge our Christian heritage through worship and enjoy the community provided by gathering all in one place for this long-standing tradition.	McDonald Moody Auditorium
11:30am	Campus Tours or Residential Hall Tours
12:15pm	Introduction of Dining Services Director You will enjoy getting to meet with Salvador Aguirre, Dining Services Director for LCU. His personal attention to making meals more enjoyable and more varied makes him a valuable asset to the university and a friend to students.	McDonald Moody Auditorium
12:30pm	Lunch	the Caf
