Undergraduate Programs:

- Application for Admission:
This must be completed and signed by the applicant.
- Photograph:
Recent, billfold size. HEALTH FORM: Return completed with application for admission.
- Transcripts:
An official high school or secondary school transcript must be submitted if the student is entering without previous college work. If a student has completed college level work in a foreign country, he/she is requested to submit an evaluation done by a reputable educational consulting service. The Admissions office will be glad to provide the necessary forms upon request. If the official evaluation is not provided before class registration, the student must submit an official high school transcript and take an English and Math placement test.
- Application Fee:
A one-time non-refundable fee of $25.00.
- Housing Advance:
$90 (non-refundable) Any single student under 21 years of age and with less than 60 hours, not living with an adult immediate family member and enrolled in 12 or more hours must live in campus housing. Students with more than 60 hours and with a 2.10 GPA may petition to live off campus. Requests for an exception to the housing policy must be presented in writing to the Student Affairs Office stating any unusual reason why the student feels special consideration should be granted.
- International Student Deposit:
A one time deposit of $700.00 is placed in an account in the student's name. If the student's account is paid in full when the student leaves the university, this deposit is returned. The deposit may be used by the student for an emergency, at the discretion of the university, to be repaid while the student is enrolled at LCU. If a balance is owed when the student leaves or graduates, the amount will be used towards the bill.
- Prepayment:
Each student must make a pre-payment of first semester tuition and fees plus room and board if applicable. This helps satisfy that the applicant has financial resources adequate to provide for the expenses. A student visa requires full time enrollment. (at least 12 hours/ four classes).
- Verification of Source of Support:
A letter from whomever is going to be financially responsible for the student's costs while in school must be submitted along with a letter from the bank of the financially responsible party. Click here for more information.
- TOEFL English Language Test:
A minimum composite score of 500 (paper based) or 173 (computer based) must be obtained on this test for admission. - Immunization Records:
All students are required to fulfill immunization requirements according to Texas state law (see Student Health Record for specifics.) An I-20 will be issued upon completion of the above stated requirements University policy requires students to have health insurance. Insurance policies may be purchased at registration. Information about special insurance policies for international students may be obtained from the Foreign Student Advisor. A student is considered to be maintaining status if he or she is making acceptable progress toward completing a (full) course of study.
Graduate Programs:

To be eligible for unconditional admission to Lubbock Christian University as graduate degree-seeking students, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- an official transcript from each college or university attended
- a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate studies. (If students do not meet this requirement, they may request conditional admission as described under Conditional Admission.)
- TOEFL English Language Test: A minimum composite score of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) must be obtained on this test for admission.
