Lubbock Christian University "The Man in the Cotton Field" McDonald Moody Auditorium |
A fun look at the changing times and faces of LCU. This original script, written by Dr. Don Willimas (’62) will feature original music by Tim McKenzie (’77), known for his performances with Blue Prairie and for his children’s books, Dr. Byron Rogers (’81), a noted contemporary Christian arranger, and John Delony (’00), a contemporary song writer and performer. The production will focus on the events that occur in an LCU student’s life, while revisiting events that occurred during the college’s fifty year history. Though styles of hair, clothes, and cars may change, the students from different periods throughout these fifty years all share the same energy, excitement for life, and creativity as they move through the college years.
