Announcement Guidelines To have an announcement read in chapel: - Chapel announcements will ONLY be read on Monday of each week.
- All chapel announcements must be submitted by 5pm Friday the week before you wish the announcement to be read.
- Announcements should not exceed 50 words or a maximum of 300 characters, including spaces. If the information needed to successfully communicate your announcement is lengthier than the maximum allowable number of words, please refer the reader to a contact person for additional information.
- Announcements will be read only once.
- To have the announcement run on slides as well please follow the procedure below.
- The announcement should apply to a significant number of students. Announcements pertaining to specific academic classes should be submitted by individual professors through email, class syllabus, class announcements or posted in the room and/or building where the class meets.
To have an announcement posted in chapel, on the web, and on a weekly print sheet: - All posted announcements must be submitted by 4pm prior to the day you wish the announcement to run.

- The list of announcements will be looped onscreen before and after chapel, as well as placed online both on thePortal and on the Student Life page. A list of announcements will also be printed every Thursday.
