Randal is and '89 graduate of LCU.  He is married to Sherri (Whitehead '88) and they have two yound sons Calvin and Max.  Randal has been with LCU since 2000 and held positions of Dean of Students for 7 years and Director of Alumni Relations for one.

Josh Stephens – Dean of Student Development
Josh is a ‘00 graduate of LCU. He has been involved in youth ministry since 1997 is married to Angie (Taylor ’00), who works locally as a Physician’s Assistant.  Josh currently oversees Student Activities, Career Services, Student Intramurals, the Fitness Center, and the Counseling Center. In addition, Josh works with Freshmen Orientation, Inter Club Council, and Summer Camps.

Sunny is married to Michael Park ('99) and they have two young sons.  Sunny serves as the Administrative Assistant to in the office of the Assistant Vice President while also directing the Study Abroad Program.

Jeffrey D. Smith, M.D. – Physician & Director of Medical Clinic
Dr. Smith is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, with a medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. After 3 years of private practice here in Lubbock, Dr. Smith joined LCU in July 2005 to establish the LCU Medical Clinic. He and his wife, Tiffany, are blessed with two sons.

Jim Foster – Living Center Supervisor
Jim is a graduate of LCU with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, and has been employed by LCU since 1994 serving as Johnson Hall Supervisor for six years and starting his seventh year as Mabee Living Center Supervisor.  Jim is also the Admissions Officer.  Jim's wife, Joyce, is also an LCU alumnus and has served LCU for twenty-two years as Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director. They have three children (all graduates of LCHS and LCU) & seven grandchildren. Jim served at LCU in 1971 and left in 1973, returning again in 1994 after retiring from the U. S. Navy.  Jim & Joyce feel that have been very blessed to have over 1200 young college men live with them during the past twelve years and look forward to many more.

Janelle Buchanan, M.S., L.P.C. – Director of Counseling Center
Janelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been an employee of LCU since July 2000.  She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Masters degree in Community Counseling, and became an L.P.C. Board-Certified Supervisor in 2003.  Janelle believes strongly that her purpose is to empower LCU students to understand themselves as an integral part of God’s world, to experience fulfilling relationships, and to reach their identified goals.  Janelle and her husband, King, have three daughters at Abilene Christian University and a son who is a Junior at Lubbock Christian High School.  They work and worship with the Green Lawn congregation.

Kirsten Northrup, M.MFT, LCDC, LPCI – Counseling Center
Kirsten received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.  She also received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2004 from Abilene Christian University.  Kirsten, her husband Jason, and their dog Dallas have been in the Lubbock area for 2 years.

Cathy Noble – Administrative Assistant
Cathy Noble is the Administrative Assistant in the Counseling Center.  She has been an employee of LCU since July 2002.  She is married to Brent Noble and they share three children, Tanner, Tobin, and Tatum.  She is also very blessed to have the most wonderful daughter-in-law, Kami.  Cathy enjoys spending time with family, entertaining, and ministering to people.  She is active at the Vandelia Church and enjoys working with their outreach program.  She is committed to working with students in helping them to experience a God centered adjustment to college life.

Wayne Perrin, MSHR – Director of Career Services
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a MSHR degree in Administration from East Central University. He is married to Allison, a counselor for South Plains College, and has three children ages 26, 22, and 17. Before coming to LCU he served as the pre-law coordinator and academic advisor for Texas Tech University. Other experience includes being a modular advertising agency partner, a minister of education and students, and a business owner. He also performed professionally in two 70’s cover bands and later a contemporary gospel music group. Wayne desires to help students realize their goals in life and to use their values and education to make sound career choices upon graduating from LCU.

Terri Haley – Director of Intramurals and Fitness Center
Terri is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. She is married to Hutch who is the Athletic Director, Football and Girls Basketball Coach at Lubbock Christian High School. They are blessed with 3 wonderful children- Heather, Hanna and Hunter . Terri has been at LCU for 6 years as the Intramural and Fitness Center Director. Terri enjoys working with students and actively seeks to impact their lives.
