LCU social clubs provide students with many activities. Men’s and women’s social clubs compete in shows during Master Follies, as well as compete in intramural sports. Social clubs also provide students with service opportunities such as nursing home visits and Habitat for Humanity. The LCU social clubs are:

It is our mission first and foremost to be women of Christ. As Christ-like women, we commit ourselves to serve God as our number one priority. We will strive to be women who reflect compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and grace. As sisters, we will support each other, as well as our brothers of Koinonia. In accordance with humility, we shall approach others with respect in all situations. Because we are unified in Christ we are unified in each other and we pray that God may tear down any walls that ever come between us and forever we will stand together. |

Kappa Phi Kappa women’s social club exists for the purpose of promoting social and spiritual development for the women of Kappa and Lubbock Christian University, with the idea that Christian womanhood shall be the standard for all members. They seek to develop strong Christian women who serve God in all parts of their lives. They support their brothers of Alpha Chi Delta and strive to help them in their walk with God. |

By this shall men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love for one another,” while supporting the men of Kyodai in their endeavor as Christian men. |

Taken from the Greek words “adelphotes, kharaktare, and diakonion,” meaning “Brotherhood, Character and Service,” Alpha Chi Delta’s purpose shall be to develop leadership and fellowship among the members of the club and throughout Lubbock Christian University. Their motto taken from Psalm 133:1 reads, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!” To achieve these goals, the club shall be based on Christianity and shall conduct wholesome Christian activities and projects. |
