Located on the east and west sides of campus, the apartments were originally built in 2000 with two additional units being constructed in 2002.
Campus apartments provide a housing alternative for:
- Students who are 20 and older;
- Married students with no children; and
- Students who have earned at least 48 credit hours.
What size are the apartments? One-, two-, and four-bedroom units are available. Married students are only permitted to rent a one-bedroom unit.
Are the apartments furnished? No. Each unfurnished unit has fully carpeted bedroom and living areas and tiled kitchen and bathroom areas. Kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, and disposal.
How do I reserve a campus apartment? Because of the popularity of the apartments, a waiting list is maintained by the Residential Life Coordinator. A new list will be started each August.
Is a security deposit required? Yes. Students must submit a $200 security deposit to the Director of Residential Life to secure a campus apartment. Checks should be made payable to Lubbock Christian University. Part or all of the deposit may be returned depending on the condition of the unit when the resident moves out.
What does the monthly rate include? The monthly rate includes all utilities, local phone, cable, and Internet services. Unless other arrangements are made, charges will be placed on the student’s school bill for the duration of the appropriate lease period. The university offers three convenient lease periods: August 1-December 15, January 1-May 25, and June 1-July 25.
