Greetings all RN-BSN Students, the time is fast approaching for the beginning of the summer semester. The faculty eagerly anticipates meeting the new students coming into the program as well as seeing the “old” students as they return. Look over the schedule and find the nursing classes that you are registered for. The following information should be of help as you prepare for the Summer 2008 semester. Please note that all nursing classes will meet in the Nursing Math Building, room 101 unless otherwise indicated.
Summer 2008 Nursing Class Schedule
NUR 3100 Introduction to BSN
Tuesday May 13th 8:30-4:30
Thursday May 15th 8:30-4:30*
*As part of Intro to BSN, you will be taking a university required exam (CAAPS). Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be awarded 42 hours for prior nursing education.
**If you do not already have a copy of the CONCISE RULES OF APA STYLE (2005), please pick one up before the Intro to BSN class meets. There are copies available in the LCU bookstore, and you can also purchase them at Hastings, Barnes and Noble, Varsity Bookstore and at Amazon.com. This book is a required text and will be useful to you throughout the program.
