Not an RN?
Lubbock Christian University Dept of Nursing does not offer a generic nursing program. Our students are registered nurses seeking a higher educational degree. Our students are graduates from associate degree nursing programs and diploma programs in nursing such as the programs offered at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas and Covenant School of Nursing in Lubbock, Texas.
However, if you are wishing to become a registered nurse, Lubbock Christian University offers two pre-nursing programs for students. Pre-nursing students may take their pre-requisites from LCU for other nursing programs and then transfer to an institution offering the two years of clinical study and thereby obtain the degree from that institution. LCU has coordinated programs with the University of Texas, West Texas A & M, and Texas Woman’s University as well as other schools.
LCU also offers pre-nursing prerequisites for those students who plan to enter Covenant Hospital School of Nursing.
Please contact Donna Harman, Pre-Nursing Advisor at donna.harman@lcu.edu for more information on our Pre-nursing programs or consult the LCU Catalog.
